Narayanpur Datta Temple (Ek Mukhi Datta Mandir)
Usually Lord Datta is shown having three faces those of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh (Shiva) but here the standing idol of Lord Datta has only one face. Here uou can see the Padukas of Lord Datta also.
Right next to the Datta temple, there is the beautiful Shiva Temple which is also known as Narayaneshwar Temple. This is very ancient Shiva temple and the gabhara has gupta Shiva Linga (hidden Shiva Linga). This shiva linga is covered by golden shiva-linga gifted to the temple by Shivaji Maharaj’s mother Jijabai.
The Audumbar tree near the Datta Temple too is worshipped by the devotees. The holy tree (Audumbar Tree) is considered to be the most blessed tree by Datta. It is also said that those who see, touch, do pradakshina or meditate near the Audumbar Vriksha will be the most fortunate of all. You can see Audumbar Tree in the background of almost all pictures or paintings Lord Dattatreya and in premises of many Datta temples in India.
Narayanpur Balaji Temple
Balaji temple is replica of actual Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirumala. The stone sculpture of the original Tirumala Tirupati temple has been mimicked in wood and painted in grey oil-paint here. The temple is a initiative by the Lord Venkateshwara Charitable and Religious Trust, a trust set up by the Venkateshwara Hatcheries corporate group.
The standing idol of Balaji is royal and awesome. If you visit quite early in the morning, you can see idol of Balaji in a matter of minutes whereas on a weekend or in the later half of the day, you have to wait for hours in a long queue. Surrounding area around main temple has small temples of deities like Krishna, Mahalakshmi, Padmawati etc.
